The album art can be seen as a view from above or below the surface of a body of water, but the title does suggest we are in the depths... but like Pearls, which brought a treasure up from the dark, I think Fathoms is also looking to the surface.

I tried getting Pearl Pixel on the last album, but schedules didn't allow... I'm thinking it was meant to be though because her playing in this song absolutely sends it soaring & is a wonderful way to close the piece.
