In 2002, CBC Radio's Brave New Waves commissioned me to compose and record an audio project of my choosing, to air around Halloween as a part of their Big Art Sound Commission series. I decided to continue experimenting with the theatrical aspects of sound design which featured frequently on my recently released debut, A Brief Visit to the Metal Hospital.

The results drew heavily on campy horror stories, often hosted by a spooky/laughable narrator/host. As is often the case with his ilk, our Evil Dr. Rosserdnu guides us through each piece of this project, reflecting on different aspects of classic horror tropes through minimal soundscapes & macabre music as the vehicle.
